FinTech Connect 2019 is an annual two-day conference, this year being held at the ExCel, London on the 3rd and 4th December. The event brings together 6,000 members of the FinTech community to assess the latest innovations, showcase new products and find out what’s to come for the next phase of transformation for the financial services sector.
This year’s event features five individual conferences and six content streams, focusing on the biggest developments and areas of innovation across digital transformation, payments, financial security, regtech, blockchain and start-up growth.
Somo’s Chief Strategy Officer, Ross Sleight, will be delivering a presentation 'Zig When Others Zag to Create Significant Product Differentiation’ at the DX Connect: Digital Engagement keynote stage on Tuesday 3rd December at 2:50pm. He‘ll be exploring consumer insights from the proprietary research recently conducted by Somo, and discussing how real product differentiation can be accelerated by meeting fundamental customer needs, rather than simply improving existing product offerings.
As a digital strategist, Ross is fascinated by the relationship between the exponential growth of digital technology, the adoption and evolution of customer behaviour and the transformation of business to adapt to these new landscapes. He has spent 25 years immersed in digital as the world has evolved from desktop to social to mobile to AR, VR and AI and beyond. As Chief Strategy Officer at Somo, Ross is key in advising global brands such as Audi, HSBC and Lloyds Bank on generating product experiences that engage and delight customers and staff.
He has won numerous creative and effectiveness awards for digital strategies and has been voted in the top 100 digerati and top 50 in mobile by The Drum for three years.
